Our team has been building across Nottinghamshire for nearly twenty years, with over 70 years of combined experience.
The person who comes out to look at your space is the person who prices it, and the person you call when you want to know what is happening on Thursday. There is no sales rep and no call centre. If that sounds slower than a big outfit, it is. It is also the reason jobs do not drift.
They are local trades we have worked with for years rather than agency labour, which matters more than it sounds when a job runs eight weeks and the same joiner needs to come back to hang the doors.
We are based in Linby and work across Nottinghamshire and into Derbyshire as far as Chesterfield. Fully insured. Free site visits.

Our team
Nearly twenty years on site, self employed for most of them. We price every job after seeing it, run the site ourselves, and answer the number you call. If we say Thursday, it is Thursday.
The build team
Bricklayers, groundworkers and joiners we have worked with for years rather than agency labour booked by the week. It is why the joiner who hung your doors is the one who comes back to adjust them.
The trades
Electricians on Part P, gas work by Gas Safe engineers, and a plasterer who does not need chasing. Everything notified properly so the paperwork is there when you sell.
Nothing was too much trouble. The same faces from the first day to the last, and they left the place spotless every night.
How We Work With You
The things most builders leave until week three.
If it is not worth doing
Some lofts do not have the head height and some extensions cost more than the value they add. We would rather say so on the first visit and lose the job.
What living through it is like
There are days with no water and days with no heating. If you have young children, moving out for the worst of it is often cheaper than the alternative.
What we are not
We are not the cheapest quote you will get. We are also not the one that disappears in week four to start somebody else's job.
Our Commitments To You
Every builder tells you what they do. This is the other list, and it is more useful.
We will not price a job over the phone. A figure given before anyone has looked at your drains, your ridge height or your ground conditions is a guess, and guesses get revised upwards in week four.
A ten percent deposit books your slot and covers materials ordered ahead of the start date. After that, payments are staged against real milestones, so you pay for groundworks once the groundworks are in the ground. We will never take the full amount up front.
We will not start a second job in the middle of yours. It is the single most common complaint about builders and it comes from taking on more work than there are people to do it.
And we will not tell you a loft works when it does not. If your ridge height is not there, you get told on the first visit and we lose the job. The four loft types are here if you want to check yours yourself.
